It was exciting to see the Planning and Land Use Services (PLUS) team acknowledged for their hard work, commitment and innovation at the recent Planning Institute of Australia State Awards for Planning Excellence.

The PLUS team picked up three of the prestigious Awards:

• Technology & Digital Innovation –  awarded to PlanSA, our ePlanning portal, for leveraging its digital infrastructure to enhance engagement and transparency in the South Australian Planning System.
• Climate Change & Resilience Award – River Murray Flood Resilience Code Amendment
• President’s Award - River Murray Planning and Building Working Group (comprising PLUS, Council and agency staff) that was convened for the River Murray Flood Resilience Code Amendment.

The Young Planner Award recognises an outstanding contribution from a young planner and Kate McNab was acknowledged in this category with a Commendation.
